another salabat night.

While wishing that time can be frozen even just for a while, this girl tries to keep up with the pace, with so many things to do in so little time. Until then, it's another salabat night.

  • me: I'm gonna study when I get home
  • me: I'll just study before I go to bed
  • me: I'll just study in the morning
  • me: I'll just study on the way to school
  • me: I'll just study in this class
  • me: I'll just study in the hall
  • me: I'll just study before the test
  • me: I'll just study during the test

In retrospect, we regret the things we didn’t do more than the things we did.

Pisay students are like memes. First they can be funny or even pretty annoying. But as you begin to get them, you can’t help that there’s something true about them. Something genuine. Something worth sharing to the world. And you can’t wait to see how far they go. :)

What if I wrote a different letter to my ten-year-old self?

What if I just told my ten-year-old self to just stay where she is, and avoid the road less travelled? Would she have listened to me and stayed where she was? Would she turn out to be the seventeen-year-old I am today?

But this, I can attest true: Pisay has trained me to think that I can always turn to science to provide me with answers.  Pisay has trained me to think that science always had the answers to almost everything.

scallawags:

For many, it’s an ending. For others, it’s a beginning. Looking back, it was both. I miss high school more than anything right now, but life must go on. So here’s to all those night-mornings of study > sleep, crazy 3am conversations, tests of biology/chemistry/physics we failed, tests of friendships we didn’t, teachers who sucked and teachers who taught you more than you would ever find in a textbook, eyebags and IDs, crushes and crushers, and the friends who will have your back 24/7/365. Don’t be sad that it’s over, be happy because it happened. :)

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.Neither do people light a…
